저자 소개

정철

1971년, 22세의 나이로 영어 선생이 되어 1979년 ‘정철카세트’로 영어교육계에 돌풍을 일으킨 이후, 지금까지 수많은 저술과 강의로 효과적인 '영어학습법’을 보급하고 있다.

저서로 1998년 발표하여 150만 명 이상이 읽은 《정철영어혁명》과 2010년에 발표한 《대한민국 스피킹 살리기》, 그리고 2023년 15년 만의 신간인 《정철의 A.D. 영어학습법》을 펴냈고 이 외에 학원과 유튜브 교재 다수를 저술했다.

또, 2006년 1월부터 2008년 12월까지 3년간 CTS를 통해 “대한민국 죽은 영어 살리기”라는 제목으로 총 215시간의 영어성경/영어설교 특강을 방송하여 영어성경 돌풍을 일으켰고, 2010년부터 2018년까지 9년간 극동방송에서 '정철의 영어성경 통독 암송'을 방송했다.

현재는 젭스의 이사장이자, 유튜브 채널 '정철영어성경TV'를 통해 영어성경 강의를 재미있게 진행 중이다.
